Advisory board of representatives
The SAM is assisted by an advisory board of selected representatives from outside the field. It is composed of scholars who work in the field of anthropology in public institutions such as collections, state heritage office, universities or research institutions. The advisory board has an important function in the quality management of the SAM-certificate and is alternately part of the committee that makes decisions regarding the destructive sampling of skeletal material.
